Revacholian Graffiti
A downloadable Poem
Colors peeled from the face of god
Melting over your bedroom door eyes
The insignificance of the walls you paint over
Mull the boot prints you kicked in a year ago
The stench of liquor and bleach rises to your tongue, and with it
An ungodly headache
Our limbed and headed machines of undignified pain and suffering
Start up again
It wants to walk the seawall
Sounding the collective bells never won
Winging webbed lies across the coast
Starving
Dying to loathe death you float here
Not willing to accept anything new
But a sensation creeps up on you
Reaching
Black Lodge follows you to bed
You choke on every word said
Better to say it now sooner than later
Dancing to disco music
Colors peeled from your skin
And you wonder why can't you stop running
Falling as your dead relatives do
We're crawling on our knees again to swallow water
Begging for this sleep to be the last
You'll see we're all the same one day
